Once the residence of humanists and home to the Nazarene College, today Palazzo Talìa is a luxury hotel that celebrates the perfect meeting between history and innovation. And among its treasures stand out the two ovoid panoramic elevators, designed by Baglini Ascensori Group, true moving works of art that give guests a unique view of the magnificent internal garden. Two jewels that are set in the structure, reborn thanks to the skilful design of the architecture studio of the director, Oscar nominee Luca Guadagnino.
A design that blends with history
The two elevators, without a visible external structure, are designed to harmoniously integrate with the magnificence of the building, preserving its historical essence. Their ovoid shape recalls a modern and refined aesthetic, while the luxurious interiors – covered in fine velvet with a semi-circular seat – transform every journey into a unique sensorial experience.
Palazzo Talìa: a metamorphosis between past and present
After three years of restoration, Palazzo Talìa was reborn thanks to the Federici family and the talent of great names in architecture and design. The common spaces, curated by Guadagnino, combine eighteenth-century frescoes by Gaspare Serenari with lively furnishings, monumental carpets and modern details. The other 25 rooms, designed by architects Marianna Lubrano Lavadera and Laura Feroldi, reinterpret traditional design in a modern key, with four-poster beds, colored tiles and sofas in sophisticated shades.

In this context, Baglini elevators represent a perfect combination of advanced technology and aesthetic attention. Every detail, from materials to shape, has been designed to enhance the magical atmosphere of the building.
