Baglini Group’s projects continue incessantly. In recent months, the company has been involved in the creation of two strategic works, capable of improving the logistics and production efficiency of two Italian food excellences that have their headquarters in Tuscany. These are the Banfi cellars and the Pienza dairy.
Two different projects for specific needs, but sharing the same philosophy: creating resistant, functional and long-lasting systems, with particular attention to materials and technology.
A 6500 kg goods lift for the Banfi Cellars: wine logistics is renewed
The Cantine Banfi di Montalcino represent an excellence of Tuscan viticulture, exporting fine wines all over the world. Their need was clear: to improve the movement of barrels and bottles through the various levels of the cellar, optimizing the workflow.
To meet this need, Baglini Group has designed and is building a 6500 kg goods lift, an impressive work designed to guarantee efficiency and safety. The system will allow heavy loads to be transported reliably, facilitating the management of the precious wine barrels during their aging and subsequent distribution.
This is a project that, in true Baglini style, combines advanced engineering and respect for tradition, with the aim of supporting one of the most prestigious companies in the Italian wine sector.
A 316 stainless steel elevator for the Pienza dairy: resistance and durability over time
The other major ongoing project concerns the Caseificio di Pienza, a reference name in the production of typical Tuscan cheeses. Here the challenge is completely different. Create an elevator capable of resisting the corrosive effects of salts deriving from cheese processing, which over time can compromise the structure of systems that are not adequately treated.
For this reason, Baglini Group has chosen 316 stainless steel, a material known for its exceptional resistance. The lift, currently under construction, will not only guarantee greater durability over time, but also maximum safety for operators and efficiency in the transport of products along the different levels of the plant.
This intervention is a concrete example of how technology can respond to specific needs, helping to improve the production processes of such a delicate sector as the dairy sector.
Both projects are under construction and will be completed in spring 2025. Baglini Group’s commitment is maximum, with a team of specialized technicians working to guarantee precision, reliability and compliance with delivery times.
